20% of toilets silently leak, wasting 1.9 billion litres of drinking water in Canada every day. That’s like 11 minutes of Niagara Falls. A leak can also add up to $250 to your water bill.

This Blue Dot encourages people to take a simple action to detect and repair toilet leaks. Together we can conserve a precious resource, save money, and protect the Earth.

One Change’s Ottawa pilot This Blue Dot campaign, sponsored by the RBC Blue Water Project™ and supported by the City of Ottawa officially concludes November 4, 2011 – but the message doesn’t stop with it!

Everyone can quickly and easily take steps to save money and water by testing for toilet leaks and by taking other simple actions to conserve water. Learn more.
